Macey Estrella-Kadlec (formerly Evans) was born in Georgia on March 24, 1990. She is a former American Marine and a prominent professional wrestler, recognized for her time in WWE, where she became known as Lacey Evans.

During her time in the United States Marine Corps, Estrella-Kadlec was part of the Special Reaction Team, a unit similar to the SWAT team in the civilian field. She enlisted at age 19 and served for five years, during which she earned a bachelor’s degree and also started a construction business while still on active duty.

Her introduction to the world of wrestling occurred while she was serving in the Marine Corps, when a sergeant who promoted independent events invited her to participate in one of them. Her talent quickly took her to the main event of the second show she participated in.
