Answer: TITLE
The Eastern Wisconsin Conference softball title race has been incredibly tight this season.
With just one game remaining in the regular season, Chilton, Valders, and New Holstein are all deadlocked with identical 8-3 records in conference play.
Tonight, the Tigers will play host to the 4th place team in the EWC, Two Rivers, in a crucial matchup. Meanwhile, Valders will aim to secure at least a share of the title as they face Roncalli on their home turf. The Huskies, on the other hand, will hit the road to take on Brillion. Since there are no tiebreakers for conference championships, if all three teams emerge victorious, the title will be evenly split among them.
In the Big East North conference, Mishicot has maintained a dominant position throughout the season and will head into their final regular-season game with an unblemished 22-0 record. They’ll play at home against Random Lake.
Over in Kiel, the Raiders will host both Southern Door and Sheboygan Falls in what promises to be an exciting evening of softball action.
In addition to these matchups, there are several other notable games taking place in the area tonight. Sheboygan South will face off against Brookfield East, Sheboygan Lutheran will take on Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, and Oostburg will play Fox Valley Lutheran at home. Luxemburg-Casco will travel to New London, Cedar Grove-Belgium will hit the road to face Brookfield Academy/University Lake, and Bay Port will invade Seymour.
