It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a vibrant soul, Bess Margaret Adams, a beloved member of the Mobile community. On December 14th, 2023, at the young age of 21, Bess left us, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and joy that will forever be cherished by family and friends.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the accident occurred on Dawes Road, about four miles south of the Mobile city limits, around 11:47 p.m. Wednesday. Bess, driving a 2020 Nissan Kicks, left the roadway, struck a culvert, and tragically overturned. Despite the efforts made, Bess, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and was transported to University Hospital in Mobile, where she passed away shortly afterward.
In an effort to celebrate Bess’s beautiful life, her family invites the community to join them on Monday, December 18th, at The Battle House Mobile in the Crystal Ballroom. Bess, born and raised in Mobile, was a beacon of light to those who knew her. Her infectious laughter, compassionate spirit, and unwavering positivity touched the lives of many.
